Murray State University hosts American Quarter Horse Association show
The Murray State University William “Bill” Cherry Agricultural Exposition Center (Expo Center) will be hosting an American Quarter Horse Association (AQHA) horse show the weekend of March 27-28. The show is open to the public to watch with no admission charge. The shows are managed by Mark Harrell and regularly draw at least 100 exhibitors per day. The show starts Saturday at 9 a.m. with Debra Jones-Wright judging. The show begins at 8 a.m. Sunday with Cindy Rucker as judge. Classes consist of halter, showmanship, hunter under saddle, equitation, reining, western pleasure, horsemanship, and trail and western riding.
