Recent National Guard fishing tourney to be broadcast on VERSUS
Tune in to VERSUS Sunday, Nov. 29 at 12:30 p.m. Eastern time for the National Guard College Fishing Regional Championship on Kentucky Lake. Watch as Murray State’s own Kalem Tippett and Steve Miller advance to the final round and go head-to-head with teams from Southern Illinois University, Ohio State, Eastern Kentucky University and Indiana University for a top award of $50,000. Murray State University hosted teams from 18 universities during the regional championship, which featured daily weigh-ins in front of Roy Stewart Stadium. Tippett and Miller will represent Murray State in the National Guard College Fishing National Championship on Fort Loudoun/Tellico lakes in Knoxville, Tenn., April 10-12, 2010. If they win, the university will receive a $50,000 donation and the MSU bass club will receive $25,000 and a new Ranger bass boat.
